Cake!

I made a batch of choc-hazelnut cupcakes today - basically a souped up packet mix recipe, adding a cup of ground hazelnuts from the Health Food shop to a plain old chocolate cake mix(it’s not cheating if it tastes good). I made tiny paper cupcakes for Raeli, and bigger muffin-style ones for the grown ups, and we staged a coffee party in the afternoon (she drank milk!).

Just as we were complimenting her on her pretty manners, she said “Yuck!�, leaped on her chair, blew raspberries, danced a bit, belched, then sat down again to drink her milk & nibble her cake like a proper little lady.

I think we’re a little way from being able to take her to tea at the Ritz…
