Eggxcelent

by Tansy

Talk about a day that proves you shouldn’t try too hard…

Little Miss is not a fan of eggs. At a pinch she might eat some boiled egg white, but never the yolk or anything remotely yellow (and generally only when her Glamma gives it to her, not boring old Mummy).

Yesterday, I had a bowl of rice with Japanese-style sweetened scrambled egg over the top (and steamed baby carrots, yum) for lunch, and Raeli (sitting in my lap to eat her staple bowl of rice) just started picking at my egg - and kept going!

I suppose it goes to show that a bit of sugar goes a long way. :) I’d prefer her to eat unsweetened egg, but it’s a good start!

About Kids Dish

If you flip through the pages of a number of kids’ magazines, you get the impression that kids’ meals should be Michelin affairs, complete with matching dishware and veggies cut to resemble the works of impressionist painters.

Let’s be real. Parents don’t have that kind of time. And kids have to eat. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Kids' dish focuses on healthy, practical meal solutions for kids… and occasionally, that might mean matching dishware.
