Fine Dining
It didn’t actually occur to us to worry about taking Little Miss out to dinner for her Nanna’s birthday. She’s generally pretty good in cafes and restaurants. What we failed tot akeinto account though, is that the majority of evidence we have for her being pretty good in cafes in restaurants comes from lunch experiences, rather than in the evening.
When she won’t even eat chips, you know there’s something wrong.
And there was. But after a meal of desperately trying to appease her and keep her cheerful in the face of insurmountable odds (and getting more and more nasty looks form other patrons) we finally fled to the car. Whereupon she rather explosively filled her nappy.
And then she was very cheerful all night, especially after she had cake and icecream back home. Happy ending!
