First Impressions
When I was first dating my husband, I would spend hours creating elaborate meals. In fact, I once spent three days cooking for my in-laws. Yeah, three days. I actually ground my own pork for shui mei that I hand rolled.
And then I had kids. There’s no time for hand rolled shui mei anymore. My priorities are a little different.
While my schedule and my priorities have changed a little, I still love to cook. That’s why I’m excited to take over duties at Kids’ Dish.
Things are going to be a little different here at the blog. You should know that I’m not vegan. I’m not vegetarian (though I used to be - ultimately, I just couldn’t give up pulled pork forever). I have no interest in daikon. But that doesn’t have to mean boring. I’m not about trying to be SuperMom. I just want to have fun in the kitchen with my kids, and make sure that they manage to get something to eat each day. I hope you’ll stop by, check it out and let me know what you think.

And please check out my blog, A Readable Feast over at another network - http://readablefeast.clubmom.com. Maybe we could partner on something, like a carnival or contest. Email me and let me know. We’re all in this kid food thing together.
