Tagged again, or me me me me me v2.0

Victoria at the San Diego, CA blog tagged me for the seven things meme, only this time it appears that I’m to write about seven unusual things about me. Honestly, I’m not all that unusual. But I’ll see what I can come up with.

1. If I don’t read at least 50 books a year I’m disappointed in myself.
2. I’m not great at gardening though I love it. All of my houseplants have seen better days and it seems my jalapeños aren’t jalapeños at all, they’ve turned into some kind of long pepper and I don’t know what kind. Banana peppers maybe? Long Italian?
3. Even though I find it more frustrating than relaxing I knit.
4. For breakfast I ate sun dried tomato and mozzarella bruschetta on leftover grilled sourdough baguette.
5. The television shows I enjoy are mostly terrible, but I love them anyway.
6. I took piano lessons for years and remember nothing.
7. Even though I tan easily and practically never burn, I almost always remember to reapply sunscreen (SPF 30 or 45) every two hours in the summer.

If you flip through the pages of a number of kids’ magazines, you get the impression that kids’ meals should be Michelin affairs, complete with matching dishware and veggies cut to resemble the works of impressionist painters.

Let’s be real. Parents don’t have that kind of time. And kids have to eat. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Kids' dish focuses on healthy, practical meal solutions for kids… and occasionally, that might mean matching dishware.
